The arts have the power to change lives.

Like many who enjoy the performing arts, I leave a production somehow changed.  As an actor, being on stage feeds my creative soul. As an audience member, live theatre presents stories that heal, refresh, enlighten, and educate me like no other medium.  It's time to bring that power to the Pearland community.

We are a small non-profit arts organization, yet we have produced several shows, been written about in Houston Press, Houston Chronicle, and landed the front cover of the Pearland Journal all within one year.  We have hundreds of newsletter subscribers, and when we go door to door introducing ourselves to the business community, we are welcomed. People are excited about the work we have done and have yet to do.

This year we plan to locate a theater space and need to raise the seed funds for our first show in the new theater, as well as purchase sound and lighting equipment and comfortable seating.

We will create a black-box styled theater and offer the local area high-quality live theatre, classes and workshops, children's theater and much more.  According to the master survey done by Pearland Parks and Recreation, residents identified a strong need for more  fine arts programming in our  community.   The community has grown so fast, and the people's needs have increased.   The time is now to make life better.

We have donated money from our own pockets and raised part of the money needed.  To reach our goal, we need an additional $12,000.

It’s a stretch. We’re a small arts organization, and we need your help to create a new performing arts venue for the community.

Please help us purchase our much needed equipment and continue to produce live theatre with a donation of $10, $25, $50 or whatever you can afford.  Should you decide to become a Patron Supporter, you can also receive great benefits.

Can we add you to the list of people who are making Pearland history?

Sincerely yours,

Renee van Nifterik
